So far so good. This is my first ebike so I don't have anything to compare to. I did some fairly extensive research on the available ebikes out there and so far I'm happy I went with Rad Bikes. The quality is on par with what my research discovered. Assembly was easy and straight forward. I appreciate the distance I get from the battery and motor combo. I'm a 210lb individual and this thing goes when I turn the throttle. I'm happy with the decision to go with Rad Bikes and the RadRover 6 Plus model.

The RadRover 6 is fine on flat, solid ground, especially if you’re a lighter rider not carrying much gear. But beyond that, it really shows its limitations. Despite being marketed as a 750W bike, the power and torque are noticeably weak compared to other 750W bikes I’ve tried. Sloped terrain, loose ground, or slippery surfaces? It struggles. Even small hills here in Wisconsin require full power and serious effort from me just to get up them. I initially hoped to pull a small trailer or haul light loads like firewood, but that’s simply not realistic with this bike. It lacks the torque needed for even mild inclines under load. After testing other models, it’s clear not all 750W motors are created equal — and this one feels like a lower-grade option. If you’re sticking strictly to flat pavement, it’s okay. But for hills, trails, hauling, or real utility use, this isn’t the bike. It failed at the job I bought it for.

The bike is an excellent ride around town, of that there is no question, and to ride it out in the country is the best. The bike is an excellent joy to ride.

I have a RAD city bike now with over 12,000 miles on the clock! Still runs fine but I think I'm ready for a new bike. I really like this RADster model and will likely get it for Christmas.

I like the bike but I’m disappointed that the price dropped $300. 00 after I purchased mine. Thanks

I have moved 'up' from a Rad Wagon 4 that I put 6500 miles on in 3 years. Now have 675 miles on the RadRover in 6 weeks just luvin it!

Love the bike few minor issues rear brake squeaks real bad and the plastic cap on the back of the head lamp fell of while riding and didn’t notice until I got home! Other than that love the bike !

My Rad power bike operates like those Lyft bikes. Smooth and sleek but very heavy could be a little lighter in weight. Are you planning to make them less heavy in the future?

It is a great bike!…the only complaint I have, is that the seat is a little hard…It is my own personal preference. Very well built, and fun to ride!!!!

5 Stars – Love This Bike! I absolutely love my RadRover 6 Plus! It's incredibly easy to ride, fast, and smooth on any surface—whether I'm on pavement, gravel, or trails. The battery life is impressive and it charges quickly, which makes a big difference on longer rides. Overall, it’s been an amazing experience. Just want to say thank you to the team for making such a great bike!

I have three rad rovers 18, 19, 21. I was thinking about getting a new one, I would rather have the dark grey color, don’t care for that green color. My friends have mad similar comments on that color. I think sand or drab green would be a better color. For the rover. Kirby

I have 2 Rads now and I love them both. I bought the step-thru for days when my hip issues make it difficult to swing over the saddle. I thought I would sell my High-Step but can't bring myself to part with it !

Has worked without a hitch, just like the other two. Wife really loves the color so she stopped using the grey one.

Overall quality is very good and it is a comfortable bike with an after market seat. Initially I had problems with the power cutting out but the customer service was very good and we worked through the problem. I now have 5600 miles on the bike and ride it 15 to 17 miles per day at an average speed of 17 MPH. This is the best form of aerobic excersize I have had. I enjoy my rides so much and, as a diabetic, I am am now able to keep my blood sugar in check. Thank you so much for building such a great product.

The OEM headlight did not light up the trail well. I replaced it with the $50 upgrade. Should be standard. I also purchased a USB charger. I think that most of your users have smart phones. Should be standard. Other than the above, I like the bike.

This new bike doesn’t have the the power of my two 5 year old Rad Rover and my Folding Rad.

Assembly went well. Got about 10 miles in before first flat. Got that fixed ok. Now the derailleur is off a little bit. I think I will enjoy bike once I get over the little hiccups

After I made the proper riding adjustments, this bike runs and feels excellent. This "RadRover 6 Plus" and my other one are the boss.

Excellent bike. This is the second one we have purchased. One for me and one for my wife. Super easy to operate and plenty of power when needed

Picked the bike up at Santa Barbra store. Minor issues like the handle bar wasn’t straight. Nothing that would concern me too much. My biggest issue is that they claim this bike is for taller people. I’m right at 6’2”, this bike was very uncomfortable for me to ride until I made a few modifications. I had to raise the handle bars, lower the seat to an almost uncomfortable position just to take a long, 25 mile plus ride. The battery does okay, I think your heavier bikes should have a higher capacity battery though. Other than these minor issues, I like the bike and would buy another.

Their battery technology is terrible. Battery bad at less than 1k miles. Replacing a fuse a nightmare, and didn't fix. Too expensive to replace.

Really like the bike. This is our second. Now my daughter and I can get out more when we are out camping.

Great bike for my tall teen to ride to his job in the mountains. Could have a bit more power for the longer hills and distances. Could come with more light and reflection for dark nights. Overall happy with it.

I have now ridden my Rad Rover more than 3,000 miles through rain, snow and heat. I have had the brakes replaced once and I had one flat tire. I ride on very rough streets and the bike has held up to lots of pounding. I’m extremely happy with my bike and I recommend it to anyone who asks.

I purchased the RadRover 6 Plus. I'm very impressed with the qualiily and the assembly was a breeze with the manuals instructionsi.

Beautiful design, battery lasts, the only thing to consider is that is very heavy.

Still waiting for an answer regarding what phone mount will work for the Rad 6. The person on the phone and the person on-line basically told me to ask someone else. Other than, I love my bike.

So far this bike has out preformed my expectations. Plenty of power going up hills, and battery stays charged.

My daily ride is about 8 miles, strictly for pleasure. I’m 84 years young and my circuit has 5 steep hills to navigate and I could never do that without a pedal assist bike. I’m riding a new Rad Rover 6+ bike, replacing my 7 year old Rad Rover. The step through frame makes for a much easier mount for my stiff old body so I’m happy for that. The controls and view screens are a little different, but the new hydraulic brakes are so much more responsive - a big plus. I’m a very happy biker.

Hi, It actually has not been great. Both bikes remotes broke and the electrical component is no longer working. Customer service was nice enough to send me 2 new remotes so I am waiting to hope that will fix it. As well one of my tires was damaged while just regularly riding and I took it to a recommended service shop on your website and it costs $550 for a new tire and rotor which was extremely expensive.

What a nice design; the only thing I’ve noticed with the new controller versus the old is that the bike doesn’t have as much power going up the hills. But that is a minor issue.

owned the original rover 6 and loved it but the upgrades you have made to the geometry of the bike and the components are very nice. Very nice riding machine. Love the color
