Its a sweet strong quiet ride. I love it! I'm 72 and no longer own a car. I live in very bike friendly Berkeley CA. I no longer have to ask for a ride to any store and can stock up and carry large quantities of groceries. On top of all that, it handles the hills around here hella easily! Also last but not least, its just a blast to cruise. One more thing,Thank you to the pros at rad power in Berkeley. Good intelligent folks.

I love the RadWagon 4! It’s great for taking kiddos along. It is long and heavy so it’s something to take into consideration. I’m a petite female at 5’4” and I’m able to ride it with my 45 lb son but it’s definitely a different ride than a standard bike. My only gripe is that the tail light never worked. I called customer serves and they sent me a new tail light but that didn’t resolve the problem. There must be an electrical issue somewhere. The headlight works fine. I need to get this resolved but it’s not that easy or convenient, so I have it 4 stars

I've been riding my Rad wagon 4 for 5 yrs. . its built like a tank and super easy to ride. . the only thing I've had to deal with is flat tires. . and I consider my self an expert on changing a tire now. .

The kick stand is scraping up the concrete and leaving orange paint everywhere I park. Gear shift needs adjusted already and skips gears without shifting. Battery goes from 2 bars to nothing in less than 0. 25 miles. Really feel the bumps without shocks. Gutless uphill. Still love it for it's capacity load. My daughter loves her commute to preschool riding on the back.

Over all it’s an Ok bike. A little overpriced based on the quality. The handlebars are Jankie, they wiggle while breaking. Also it is underpowered especially uphill.

We got our RadWagon so that our family could have a shared hobby. Our youngest son has a rare genetic syndrome, and for him to participate in our town's new bike trail, we needed to explore a comfortable and safe bike for him to be a passenger. RadWagon has gifted our family with an accessible way for him to be included in this wonderful community asset! We are SO grateful! We get so many people asking about our RadWagon!!

bike is extremely heavy, very hard to handle if you have one kid in the back. But the worst part are the breaks, from the get go they are squeaky and after only 2 weeks I had to already bring the bike for a brake adjustment

Like many others, my bike worked for a few months and then I started to get an Error 30 and shut down mid-ride. After a lot of time troubleshooting and testing, they sent a replacement controller. I swapped it out but the issue persists. Now I haven't heard from support in weeks. Overall just not a quality product. The bike needed significant adjustment out of the box, and the brakes are low quality and squeak every time you ride. Would recommend going elsewhere.

First of all, her name is, Judy Garland. She loves her uppers and downers. Hills that is! This bike, nay, this steed, has changed my life! I use her, if not every day, every other day. We got the large basket for the back and can't wait to get more things to mod her out. We have an affinity for orange things in this house, this color was a no brainer. She's sturdy, smooth, and powerful. Her little bell is so charming!! My partner has many times, seen me riding her about town with a big ole' smile. Ear to ear like a golden retriever. I use her for everything! Quick grocery runs, little errands, to the gym, everywhere that's bike accessible! This is an investment worth every penny and I can't wait to grow old with this dyke. I mean bike! I MEANT BIKE!!!

While putting the bike together I realized they sent a bad fender, no problem customer service sent another. However the entire build quality of the bike has gone downhill. This is my third bike purchase from Rad and definitely my last! The battery goes in and out, the quality of material is cheap and seems like it’s not made to last.

I received my wagon as a retirement gift. Unfortunately, I found it be very heavy and cumbersome. The ride is very hard . You would think something that heavy would have shock absorbers or a better suspension system. The wiring harness connected to the handle bar connector was too tight causing the wiring to disconnect the controller. Look around, there are better bikes on the market.

I’ve been loving the RadWagon 4 so much! My two kids and I can go anywhere with it — school, parks, errands — all with ease. It looks great, rides smooth, and I love all the accessory options that make it even more versatile. The only downside is that it's a bit heavy and bulky, which can make tight spaces like storage areas or elevators tricky to navigate. But overall, it’s been a fantastic addition to our weekend daddy-ventures.

This is a BIG HEAVY bike. It’s great for driving around the city, but not having shocks, makes it a rough ride at times. Would benefit from more trippy tires. The accessories are farrrr too expensive for their quality. You will likely find better options on Amazon that will cost much cheaper. My son loves riding with me, but he gets bounced around a lot, and we had to upgrade the padded seat, and put pool noodles on some of the caboose bars. The headlight is terrible! I upgraded to one from Amazon and was much happier. The orange looks great, but it also attracts a lot of attention. Since I live in a large city, it created unwanted attention from the homeless and nefarious when locked up. I would only recommend this bike to someone who is already comfortable biking, has plenty of body strength, and doesn’t mind shelling out for upgrades that should’ve been included already. The battery life is great, although when fully weighted down, there’s a drastic drop in longevity. There are better options on the market if you’re looking for something that will handle off road, but other than some light path riding, you will not be safe off road. I can ride fairly well on grass, but any amount of loose dirt and gravel is dangerous I haven’t dropped the bike yet, but I came very close to laying it down recently. I was biking in a parking lot. I hit a small patch of loose dirt, and it was like hitting ice. I caught the bike, but was sore for days after. It’s a heavy bike, and should be treated as such.

I take this bike to/from work and daycare a few times per week, with a round trip of about 11 miles each time. I only need to charge my bike once at the end of the week using mostly power modes 1-2 and it makes the trip really smooth. So far I'm very happy with the purchase!

We got the bikes so our daughter with Down Syndrome could ride on the bike. She has never been on a bike and in the past we had to leave her behind. Our first ride was the best day ever, huge smile laughing all the way. We are older so having the assist makes it easy to ride with her. Second ride we had saddlebags and rode to a picnic. Love them

Bike is very good, solid and reliable. Few things should be improved: - it is uncomfortable for my son to sit at the back with the bags. He has to keep the legs wide open. It would have been better to allow the bags to be pushed slightly forward or backward, to allow for the passengers more legroom - I am 6'2'' tall, and the seat is too low. The bike is advertised for people even taller than me. - stepping over is a challange. I see that the Radwagon 5 has lower the frame. - I am surprised to learn that the company does not offer a canopy to cover the kids from rain and cold - It is not possible to mount the child seat at the very back, if you have bags. So, I have my older son at the very back, holding on the child seat of my younger one, right in front of him. Not nice for him Overall I am satisfied, but I think the RW5 could be a better deal overall.

Terrible reliability and worse service. After only a year I started to get error 30 messages and shouldn’t have ignored them. After two years and only a few hundred miles, the bike suddenly started dying mid ride, shifter started to stick, and the brakes were worn out. Issue is no shops around me will touch the electrical. Rad suggested buying and installing a new controller and battery sling, which didn’t work. So now I’ve spent hundreds on repairs and parts to have a bike that doesn’t work. Hopefully I can find someone to buy a non electric super heavy bike so I can have a down payment and save for an e bike that actually works and is possible to service.

This was the best eBike I have ever had! I rode it every doe and enjoyed every moment. The power is great and the speed is just so fun. I have ridden many e-bikes but the brakes on this one are amazing. This bike can also handle heavy weather like snow, rain, wind, and heat. The accessories for this bike are very high quality I had the large basket, Back seats, back handlebar, And the back footrests. Sadly I had to sell the e-bike because of a move but at the end of my time with it, I had 1000+ miles on it. So In the opinion of someone who has ridden many bikes, this is easily the best one.

Please read if you're thinking of buying this bike... We bought a Rad Wagon 4 over two years ago. A month after we bought it, the company told us the tires and/or rim strips were defective and also told us that we were not to ride the bike because the tires could suddenly blow out. This took nearly 3 months to resolve. Fast forward another year and a half and after getting a flat because of a nail in the road (obviously it happens when biking in the city), it became clear that the size 22" x 3" tube and tires are extremely hard to find. I called a dozen places in Chicago and couldn't track them down. You have to order them from Rad; this would be fine if they were in stock. They have been out of stock for well over a month now, and though we were initially promised by their customer service team that they would send us out a repair kit (containing 2 tires, 2 tubes, and 2 rim strips) anyway, we were later informed that yes, the tires are indeed out of stock and there is no timeline for when they will be back in stock. We used to love riding this bike; taking our kids to school on the back of it provided all of us with a welcome break from traffic and the feeling that we were making an environmentally conscious choice. But now we've been forced to deal with a customer service team that dishes out empty promises and an e-bike that's sitting in the corner of the garage with a flat tire. I would not buy from Rad again, and am currently looking into buying an Aventon instead.

Upon receipt I had to overcome an "Error 30" code. It took about 3 weeks to troubleshoot, isolate and fix the problem. At times the process took longer than expected but we were able to fix the problem with my bike thanks to the Rad Customer Service Team. I now enjoy my bike and use it to mostly on fun outings with my 4 year old twin granddaughters.

The bike is cheaper than Tern alternative but over time you realize the tires are non-standard 22 inch that only Radbikes produce. They're quite bald to begin with and go fully bald very quickly. Any moisture or not perfectly paved road results in skiddish experiences, which is super rough with 2 toddlers. Would recommend the

Bike is 13 months old. Less than 1000miles on the clock (a year of commuting). The motor started routinely cutting out at around 8 months. The front light stopped working. Error messages all the time. Current status is that the motor is now not working at all - it just won't come on. A convoluted 'test' process from Rad customer service, but no resolution yet.

I don’t drive on days off anymore! We are so stoke with the Rad Wagon 4, and I hear that the redesign on the Rad wagon 5 is amazing as well! We essentially have given up our cars on days we don’t have to drive to work, groceries trips to the rec center, hardware store etc are all doable with this awesome bike. We have attached the large basket and the seat with guard rails, 2 kiddos, an adult, and a lot of gear is easily handled! We are stoked!

The RadWagon makes it really fun to bike around with our toddler, even in our really hilly neighborhood! Pre-kid, we did all of our in-town trips via bike. We can do that again now! My only knock is that the brakes don't work well out of the box. After first assembly, the brakes rubbed really badly both front and back. I adjusted the pads which helped, but the discs aren't very flat/true so there's only so much I could do. I took it into their shop but they said they'd charge me to flatten the discs and adjust the brakes, which seems really silly for a brand-new product. It's your supplier/assembler that messed up the brakes, not me! Other friends have had similar experiences. So, super fun to ride, but I'm knocking off 1 star for the out-of-true discs and a second for not owning up to the problem.

Pros: this bike is fun! we love the caboose addition. The battery lasts forever. Its easy to charge. Cons: This bike is so heavy and really needs front and back shocks!! I absolutely LOVE the bike and what it has done for my transportation everywhere and hauling kids during non-snowy months. Game changer!! The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is that my bottom bracket has been clicking, which has been annoying. It’s so new, I didn’t expect to need to take it into a shop just yet. Dealing with it for now until it becomes unbearable. But hasn’t seemed to affect the function of the bike overall, just an annoying click when I pedal.

The purchase experience was great, since then it’s been the worst customer service experience I’ve had in a very long time. I have attempted to reach out to RAD several times regarding dis functional brand new brakes, with no help from anyone. I’ve chalked it up to a lost cause and unfortunately will probably never purchase another item from this company.

I got the radwagon 4 to replace my Radrunner plus. It works well, but I still have a bit of a sour opinion because my Radrunner has 5000 miles on it and stopped working. I have to replace the rear wheel and motor for it. With the wagon I am just shy of 500 miles on it. The bike is working fine and I hope will not develop problems because my garage is not large enough to replace my bike every 3 years.

The rad wagon 4 has been an amazing addition to the family. I have two kiddos under 6 y/o and they both love this cargo bike. We use it daily unless it's raining, for school/daycare drop off and pick-up, for adventures to parks and I commute back and forth from work with it as well. So far, I get 2 full days of trips per charge. Kiddos fit comfortably in the back. And they have space for 1 or 2 small backpacks. I got the runner boards so that they can climb in and out of it on their own and I have the caboose as well to help keep them contained and safe while riding around town. The bike is super fun to ride with them or on my own, and make for very efficient riding around town. It's also extending the life of my car as well and reducing mechanic bills too, so that's a win as well. The built in stand is super solid but I still stand next to the bike while kiddos climb in and out for safety. The seat is the only thing that could be a bit more comfortable, but it's an easy thing to swap. Otherwise, everything on the bike is easy to service and adjust. So couldn't be happier with this bike, super capable and extremely fun!
